MC Mobility Consultants Participates in Transport Innovation Forum 2025 in Vilnius

MC Mobility Consultants was proud to take part in the Transport Innovation Forum 2025, one of the Baltic region’s leading events bringing together decision-makers, industry leaders, researchers, and startups to explore the future of mobility and logistics. Held on 15–16 October at LITEXPO in Vilnius, this year’s forum welcomed experts from more than 15 countries to discuss how technological progress, geopolitical tensions, climate challenges, and artificial intelligence are reshaping the transport sector.

Under the theme “Innovation for Transport and Logistics in Times of Global Challenges,” the forum addressed the urgent need to rethink mobility systems—not just optimize them. High-level discussions examined the role of EU policy and funding in shaping infrastructure development, the evolving European Green Deal, and the influence of geopolitical risks on long-term transport priorities. Additional sessions explored alternative fuels, decarbonization pathways, and the technologies best suited for different logistics segments, with insights from international experts including representatives of the International Energy Agency.

Artificial intelligence was a central topic, with discussions led by the Ministry of Economy and Innovation on the national “AI Factory” concept. Participants explored how AI-driven tools can help transport and logistics companies transform operations, improve route planning, automate analysis, and boost competitiveness. The programme also highlighted the use of Digital Twins for modelling transport flows and testing infrastructure solutions in virtual environments—innovations already being applied in smart city planning worldwide.

The event gathered distinguished representatives from the European Commission, European Parliament, OECD, EIT Urban Mobility, and major global companies such as Scania, Volvo, Neste, Shell, and DKV Mobility. Startups also played a prominent role through a dedicated pitch session and innovation showcase, offering a platform for emerging solutions in logistics, sustainable transport, and digital mobility.

For our team, the forum offered valuable opportunities to connect with forward-thinking professionals, exchange knowledge, and engage in meaningful discussions on the future of sustainable, resilient mobility systems. We extend our thanks to the Transport Innovation Association and the Ministry of Transport and Communications for successfully bringing together the Baltic transport community for another inspiring edition of the forum.
