MC Mobility Consultants is pleased to share that our team took part in the International Baltic Road Conference (IBRC) 2025, held in Vilnius on 3–4 September.

The conference gathered more than 500 professionals from across the Baltic region and beyond to discuss the future of road infrastructure, sustainable transport, and innovative approaches to modern mobility.

Our colleague Ieva Markucevičiūtė-Vinckė participated as a speaker, presenting on Green Public Procurement in Road Infrastructure: The Path to Sustainable Construction. Her contribution highlighted how sustainability-focused procurement processes can drive environmentally responsible and forward-looking road construction practices.

This topic directly aligns with our ongoing Interreg programme project ChemClimCircle-2, which promotes the integration of climate protection, circularity, and chemical reduction into public procurement to support more sustainable development pathways.

Throughout the conference, our team gained valuable insights into emerging strategies for modernizing road networks, implementing green and circular solutions, applying digital tools, and strengthening collaboration among key stakeholders. These insights will support our continued work on projects that advance climate objectives, resource efficiency, and smarter mobility across the region.
